Our establishment allows you, the customer, to select the fish that you require from our wet fish counter, whereupon our highly knowledgeable staff will recommend the best ways of cooking it. The choices may include deep fried (in our homemade beer batter) pan fried, grilled or baked.
Our menu changes on a regular basis because we use only the freshest line caught fish, from sustainable waters - delivered daily from our fishermen based in Mersea island and Poole Dorset
Accompaniments don't stop our twice cooked chips and mushy peas: mash, new potatoes and sweet potato chips are available alongside seasonal salads, homemade sauces and pickles. Along with the more traditional fish we offer all manner of seafood - Mersea oysters, yellow fin tuna, squid, shellfish, etc.
